I'm Tom, founder of WHYS Operating Partners and a Customer Success enthusiast and Operating System builder at heart.
Good strategy is rarely what breaks growth. The damage comes after the decision, in the gap where the plan meets the doing. I've spent years in that gap, as a founder's right hand, a revenue leader, and an IC. Ownership becomes messy. Leaders treat symptoms while the structure stays broken.
I learned it the hard way. I've built Customer Success organisations from scratch, led GTM shifts, fixed broken onboarding, redesigned segmentation, and managed complex post-merger integrations. It taught me this: you cannot hire your way out of a systems problem. You cannot work harder than a bad design.
I work best with leadership teams in moments of scale, transition, or friction, founders who want compounding ARR, CROs who want CS owning expansion, and CS leaders whose teams run on a system instead of good intentions.
My goal with WHYS is simple: build AI-ready, revenue-generating CS teams that deliver continuous value. I bring pattern recognition, business judgment, and the Dutch directness to say what the rest of the room won't. If a VP's ego is going to overrule the data, I'm not the right fit. If you want someone who'll tell you the truth, call me.
